This popular and successful department has well equipped rooms – a Music room with a suite of computers and MIDI keyboards, rehearsal rooms, Drama Studio, and a Dance Studio, all within a purpose built Performing Arts block.
The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate about teaching music
- Plan and implement a broad and balanced music curriculum that supports progress
- Contribute to the wider life of the school by leading and supporting extracurricular activities such as choir, ensembles, concerts, and productions
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and collaboration.
- Enjoy working as part of a vibrant team, have good organisation and communication skills
- Embrace school life and nurture a sense of belonging to the school community
